Gail M. Nemeth

July 15, 1965 – Dec. 12, 2025

Gail Nemeth passed away on December 12, 2025. Gail was born July 15, 1965 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Stephen and Clementine (Campbell) Nemeth. She was raised and attended school in Edison, NJ. In 1999, Gail moved to Arizona, spending 8 years in the Sedona area, and 8 months in Tucson before settling in the Fargo/Moorhead area in 2008 to be closer to family.

Gail enjoyed travel in her younger days, her most memorable trips include, hiking at the Delaware Water Gap; Sparta & Lake Mohawk; Ithica, NY & the Finger Lakes region; Washington DC (1996) to see the AIDS quilt in honor of a dear friend; the American Candle factory in PA; driving the four corners area to see sights that called her in her dreams; Staten Island – helping a tortoise cross the road on one trip, or chatting with a barn owl; California – seeing Pope John Paul II (1987); New York City for plays on Broadway, the Statue of Liberty, and seeing the Dali Lama. Gail also enjoyed cooking, crafting original recipes; spending time with friends and family, never missing a chance to watch her niece and nephew in school activities; and Christmas. Gail was known for her smile and friendliness; treating people as she wanted to be treated, sending cards or making a phone call.

Gail is survived by her mother, Clem; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Todd May, nephew, Zachary and niece, Samantha (Asher) Kranz. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Deacon Steve.

Services will be held at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN, Saturday December 20, with visitation at 2PM followed by a funeral service at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, and in Gail’s honor, say a prayer for someone, send a card to a friend, make a phone call or do a random act of kindness.
