Garon J. Hanson

Garon Hanson, 84, passed away at his residence on April 24th, 2026. 

Garon, who everyone called "Sonny", was born on March 26th, 1942, in Barnesville, MN. The son of Julian Hanson and Clara Frederickson. Sonny was 1 of 7 children and a fraternal twin to Glennys Stach. Sonny loved to go fishing, and when he wasn't fishing, you could find him watching his 2 favorite teams, the Minnesota Twins or the Minnesota Vikings. He also liked taking his chances at the local casino. 

Garon is survived by his children, Bobby, Amanda (Chad) Robinson, Garon (Annie) Hanson, 3 grandchildren, Blake, Abigail, and Nora, 2 siblings, Elaine Welle and Janice Hanson, and many nieces and nephews. Garon was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dale (Red) Hanson, sisters Donna, Glennys, and Patricia. Garon, we hope you hit the jackpot and find the best fishing spot in heaven. You will be missed.
