Gloria J. Bergson

Gloria J. Bergson of Moorhead, MN passed away on Wednesday October 28 at Twin Valley Assisted Living. Gloria was born in Island Lake, MN on February 22, 1937 to John and Mildred (Roux) Folstrom. She married Duane Bergson on June 21, 1959. She loved volunteering. Especially with the Tri-Valley Opportunity Council’s foster grandparent program. In 2015 she won an award for her steadfast commitment to the hundreds of kindergarteners who had come to know her as Grandma Gloria. She is survived by her grandchildren Marisa, Austin, and Alexis. She was preceded in death by her husband Duane, her parents, and her siblings Harvey, Maynard, Clayton, Dennis, Phyllis, Joyce, and Dale.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, at 2:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ulen, MN.
