Grace S. Johnk

Grace Johnk, 88, Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN, died on Thursday, October 06, 2005, in the nursing home.Grace McEvers was born on May 14, 1917, in Moorhead, MN, to Charles and Alma Carr McEvers. She grew up and attended school in Barnesville, graduating from Barnesville High School. Grace married Alfred C. Johnk on July 12, 1939, in Sabin, MN, where they farmed. Alfred died on January 18, 1992, and Grace moved in to Moorhead, MN. She had been living at Eventide since 1999.Grace is survived by two daughters, Muriel William Oliver, Sabin, MN, and Becky Donald Hoppe, Wolverton, MN; and one granddaughter, Michelle Jon Valenta, Detroit Lakes, MN.
