Hazel V. Tall

Hazel V. Tall, 84, of Hawley, Minnesota, died Thursday, September 9, 2004, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.Hazel Engen was born July 23, 1920 in Skree Township, Clay County, Minnesota to Thor H. and Kristie Aasen Engen. She grew up there and attended rural country school. She married Rudolph Tall on March 27, 1946 at Lake Park, Minnesota. Following their marriage they farmed near Hawley. Rudolph died May 15, 1982. Since July 2003, Hazel has been a resident of the Viking Manor Nursing Home in Ulen, Minnesota. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, 2 infant sons, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.Hazel is survived by a sister-in-law, Jane Engen, Hawley, MN; and nieces and nephews.
