Inger M. Robertson

Inger M. Hansen was born on April 26, 1914, near Hawley, MN, to Soren and Anna Michaelson Hansen. She grew up and attended school in Hawley and then graduated from Beauty School in Fargo. She opened Hawley's first beauty shop, "Our Own Beauty" in Hawley. Inger married Raymond J. Robertson on October 11, 1941, in the Hawley Methodist Church and they farmed near Hawley all of their lives. He died on July 6, 1979. Inger loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed all of her family pets. She is survived by five sons, Charles Carol Robertson, Alexandria, MN, James Ina Robertson, Hope, ND, Dave Karie Robertson, Hawley, MN, Michael Gayle Robertson, Glyndon, MN, Joseph Chris Robertson, Hawley, MN; one daughter, Karen Carl Erickson, Hawley, MN; one brother, Floyd Hansen, Moorhead; two sisters, Mae Weaver, Hawley, MN, and Betty Marweg, Dilworth, MN; twenty grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; three sister's-in-law, Helen Johnson, Glyndon, MN, Aagot Hansen, Hawley, MN, and Evelyn Hansen, Hawley, MN.
