James Carlos Scott

Today our beloved husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with his Lord.  Left behind here on earth to eternally grieve for him is the love of his life, his wife Patti, daughter Nicole, son James and his granddaughter Indira, who brought so much happiness to his life.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law Anita Par, son-in-law Johnny Cantu (Nicole), his sister-in-law Soma Shine, his sister Sonya, his brother Raymond, and many nephews and nieces.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rick, his father, Richard Scott,  sister, Esther and step-dad, Kenny Rick.

James loved fishing, watching T.V. with his kids, smoking cigarettes and just cruising around with Patti and listening to music.  For someone who didn’t like people very much, he was the most charismatic man you could have known.  Throughout the years he made many friends including Jules, Grandpa (Sherman Sipe) and many others.  He was tough, but he did right by his kids.  Through them he will live on.

Through all his hurts and disappointments, James always knew that the Lord was by his side.  Until we meet again, fly high.

A private service was held Thursday, November 3, 2022.
