Jay Willard Rice, of Glyndon, Minnesota, passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 66, after a long and courageous battle with multiple health issues. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he now rest in peace, free from pain.

Jay was preceded in death by his father, Willard Rice; his mother, Barbara Rice; his nephew, Jaxon Ahmann; and his niece, Reese Manning.

He is survived by his sister, Lorri (Kevin Peterson); his brother, Dan (Cathy Rice); his nieces, Brittany (Nick Ahmann), Allie (Zac Stewart), and Kelli (Jared Manning); and his nephews, Chris Peterson, Easton Ahmann, Kolton Ahmann, Colby Stewart, and Nash Manning.

Jay’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
