Jeffrey LeRoy Bencker

Jeffrey LeRoy Bencker passed away on July 7, 2025.

Jeff was born on March 15, 1963, in Bemidji, MN, to Orville and Adeline Bencker. Jeff was the third born of 6 children. He is survived by his 2 brothers, Jody (Shanon) Bencker, Patrick (Lea) Bencker and 2 sisters, Phyllis (Dave) Prestegord and Wendy Davison. He is also survived by 7 nephews, 4 nieces and many cousins. He was a foster father to Anna, Ava and Silas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Lowell and father Orville.

Jeff was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to play chess with his nephew and anyone who thought they could beat him. He enjoyed getting together with family and playing card and board games. He helped family and friends with home improvement projects whenever he was able, enjoying using his carpentry skills learned from his father.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Hawley Alliance Church on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.
