Jeffrey "Jeff" Paul Krause

Jeffrey “Jeff” Paul Krause, 66, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Jeff was born on April 8, 1958, to Kenneth and Evelyn (Bernard) Krause in Ada, MN. He grew up in Moorhead, MN, attending Moorhead High School and graduated from Ridgewood High School in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ in 1977. He returned to Moorhead, MN, where he met his now late wife, Donna Marty, and they were united in marriage on August 28, 1982. Together they had one daughter, Jessica. Jeff held many positions in his life, most of which involved transportation or in automotive, until he retired in 2013.

Jeff enjoyed the occasional golf outing with his friends. He also loved sports, watching the Twins or the Vikings and high school events. When the tv was on, you would find Jeff watching some sort of crime investigator show, especially CSI or COPS. He was a pet lover and always had some sort of animal in the house, whether it was a cat, a dog, or Earl the squirrel.

Jeff is survived by his longtime significant other, Patti Anderson; daughter, Jessi (Darren) Butenas; grandchildren, Joslynn and Wiatt Butenas, Chase Jr. and Xavier Christiansen, and Adrien Peterson; brother, Craig (Denise) Krause; brother-in-law, Kim LaDuke; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Evelyn; sister, Peggy LaDuke; and sister-in-law, Joan Krause.

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., followed by the memorial service at 3:00 P.M., Friday, June 21, 2024, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
