Jon Raugutt, age 52, of Moorhead, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on December 31st, 2025.

Born on June 15th, 1973 in Oakes, ND, Jon was the beloved son of Norman and Pearl Raugutt. He attended school in Oakes, Arkport NY, and Wahpeton, having received an AS Degree in Computer Programming from NDSCS. He was an accomplished software engineer and web developer. He spent his life raising his two beautiful daughters, who were the light of his life and greatest accomplishment.

Jon was known for his goofy personality and sense of humor and had a special love for golf, playing guitar, composing and recording music.

He is survived by his beloved dog Charlee. Love of his life Sherri Thompson of Moorhead, MN. Daughters Sara (Tyler) Hemmesch of Paynesville, MN and Channon Raugutt of Grand Forks, ND. His 7 grandchildren Everly, MaKenna, Tyson, Jaxson, Madison, Pearl and Jamison. His siblings Julie Lloyd of Sedan, MN and Cory Raugutt of Austin, TX. His nieces Lucy (Brenna) Larkin of Seattle, WA and Carma Hauge of Chicago, IL. Jon was preceded in death by is parents Norman Raugutt and Pearl Timmerman.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials.

Jon never wanted a traditional funeral. We are going to celebrate his life by doing something he loved...karaoke. Join us Saturday, January 10th at 6:30pm at The Bowler in Fargo, ND.
