Judith Ann Horn

Judith Ann (Motschenbacher) “Judy” Horn, 68, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Essentia Health Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Judy was born on June 27, 1955, to John and Helen (Pearson) Motschenbacher, in Moorhead, MN. She was raised in Sabin, MN, and attended Moorhead High School, graduating in 1973. She stayed in Moorhead and worked various jobs prior to her marriage to Charles Horn on July 29, 1978. She enjoyed staying home and raising their five children. Judy and Charles were divorced in 1988 and she continued being a devoted homemaker to her family in Moorhead.

Judy enjoyed baking and cooking, especially Sunday meals with her family. She also liked to crochet, play bingo and card games such as Phase 10 and Crazy 8's. She also enjoyed playing Yahtzee with her family. Most of all, she loved to spend time, sometimes days at a time, with her grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her children, Brian Horn, Jason Horn, Steven (Miranda Hjelden) Horn, Timothy Horn, and Lisa Horn; grandchildren, Isabella Horn, Trinity Horn, Jose Reyes, Jr., and Thomas Reyes; siblings, Ginny (Douglas) Soland, Nancy Motschenbacher, John (Char Aberle) Motschenbacher, Jr., Kathy (Kurt Erickson) Motschenbacher, and Charles (Jackie Swanson) Motschenbacher; sister-in-law, Kay Motschenbacher; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen; and brother, Thomas Motschenbacher.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
