Judith "Judy" Ann Grant Skauge

Judith “Judy” Ann Grant Skauge, of Moorhead, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, at the age of 76.

Judy was born on July 10, 1948, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Norman and Marcelle Grant. She was raised in Moorhead, where she graduated from high school in 1966. She pursued studies for a time at Moorhead State College before beginning a long and dedicated career in human resources.

Over the years, Judy held positions at BCBS, GNC Manufacturing, and ultimately served as Human Resource Manager for the City of Moorhead. Known for her professionalism, compassion, and dedication to her work, Judy made a lasting impact on the organizations and people she served.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Marcelle Grant. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Hartvig “Chip” Skauge; her daughter Tiffany (Tom) Beynon; granddaughters Taylor (Anthony) Howe, Tatum (Will) Lang; her brother Jerry (Ruth) Grant; her cousins Glenn (Deb) Lyden and Wendy (Pat) Dolezal; and many other cherished family members and friends.

Judy and her husband enjoyed many years traveling between Minnesota and Arizona as “snowbirds”. Judy’s infectious laughter, warmth, and smile will be missed by golfers and friends alike. She was a warm, strong person, who loved and cared for those around her.

Judy’s service will be held at Wright Funeral Home on August 4, 2025 with visitation at 1:00 PM followed by the service at 2:00 PM.
