Kenneth Edward Schwartz Jr.

Kenneth Edward Schwartz passed away September 10, 2023, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND with family at his side.

Ken was born in Elizabeth Township at home on December 20, 1940, to his parents Kenneth Edward Schwartz Sr. and Roxibelle Hayden. He married Diane McCloud on October 14, 1964 in Santa Cruz, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Roxibelle. He is survived by his wife Diane, son Steven (Mel), daughter Tamara, sisters Jeannie and Nellie, granddaughter Ashley, great grandsons Brayden, Caysen, Steven, and great granddaughter Athena, grandson Erik (Brianna), great granddaughter Andreya, and great grandsons Kylen and Grayson, grandson Brady (Kenzi), and great grandson Vincent.

Ken worked for Buland Construction in Moorhead and for Paulson Construction in Fargo. He then worked as a boiler tender for the Moorhead Armory and MSUM, from which he retired in January 2010.

Ken adored his family and had a passion for model railroads, reading, and woodworking.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 3:00 P.M., with visitation for one hour before the service, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead. His final resting place will be in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
