Kevin G. Bowser, age 55, of Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, July 15, 2010, in Bethesda Hospital, St. Paul, MN. Kevin Grant Bowser was born on January 29, 1955, to Lawrence Sr. and Ferne Francis Bowser in Fullerton, CA. He grew up and attended school in California and Idaho. In 1982, he was married in Dilworth, MN, to the mother of Leea and Nathan and later moved to Moorhead, where he has resided since. Before Kevin became disabled, he was a man of many trades; he drove truck, school bus and was a painter amongst many other things. Kevin had a great passion for music as well as history. He personally met several music artists including Queen, REO Speedwagon, Styx, Steven Tyler, Getty Lee and others. He was a devoted collector of many things, from movie posters to music videos. He loved sports, above all, he loved basketball and he stood by the Los Angeles Lakers to the end. He was a devote member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served in many capacities in the church. He enjoyed working and teaching with the missionaries of the church throughout his years in Fargo/Moorhead and became close friends with many of them. He is survived by two children, Leea and Nathan Bowser, both of Moorhead, MN; three brothers, Kreig Bowser, Bruce Bowser and Lawrence Cherie Bowser all of CA; and one sister, Shauna Hal Garner of ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Sr. and Ferne Bowser and one brother, Mark Bowser.
