Kimberly Lynn Laverdure, 65, of Rogers, MN, formerly Fargo, ND passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in her home.

Kimberly was born on April 12, 1961, in Illinois to George and Claudette (Larsen) Heywood, the second of five children. She grew up in the Minneapolis area and attended school there. Her father passed away early in Kimberly’s life, so she was leaned on to help with her younger siblings.

In 1985, she married Bruce Wrolstad and they made their home in Fargo, ND where they raised three sons. They later divorced. In 2004, Kimberly married her longtime partner, Steven Laverdure who passed away in 2007.

Kimberly had a tough life but made the most of it. She would do anything for her family and was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved teddy bears and her cat, Wally. She had faith in Jesus and is now at peace with the Lord.

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Claudette Siewert; son, Derek (Angela) Wrolstad; siblings, Doug Heywood, Gail (Pete) Friesen, Brad (Sharon) Heywood, Amelia (Mark) Mata, stepsister, Barb (Kurt) Gabruk, stepbrother, Phil (Kerry) Battaglia, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven; sons, Dustin and Daren Wrolstad; stepfather, Dominic Battaglia and stepbrother, Michael Battaglia.

Final resting place will be in Prairie Home Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
