Lloyal H. Burnside

Lloyal Harris Burnside, 67, of Hawley, died on Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at his home under hospice care, surrounded by his family.Lloyal was born March 17, 1937 in Hawley, MN, to Robert and Julia Burnside. He grew up and attended school in Hawley. Following school he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Korea. Upon his return he married Janice Glende on July 6, 1962 in Sisseton, South Dakota. They made their home in Hawley, MN, where he owned and operated A.B.F., Inc. for 32 years, until his retirement. Lloyal enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers.He is survived by his wife, Janice, Hawley, MN; one son, Tim Burnside, Mapleton, ND; two daughters, Kimberly Jon Gibson, Hawley, MN, and Teresa Boit, Hawley, MN; one brother, Robert Burnside, Hawley, MN; one sister, Ione Harley Erickson, Fargo, ND; ten grandchildren, Jason, Nate, Cody, Shayne, Justin, Jaye, Brianna, Mikayla, Paige, and Alexis; and one great grandchild, Alaya.
