Lovern B. Solem

Lovern B. Solem, 80, Buffalo, MN, formally Glyndon, MN died Thursday, May 13, 2004, at Parkview Care Center in Buffalo, MN surrounded by her family.Lovern was born on September 30, 1923, to Albert and Annie Kvamme Dahl in New Rockford, ND. She grew up and attended school in Meckinock, ND. Lovern worked as a cook the majority of her life, she was a life long member of the VFW. She was a wonderful mother and mother-in-law who loved her children and grandchildren dearly, Lovern will be missed by many. Lovern is survived by her son Wayne Thoreson, Elk River, MN, her daughter-in-law, Marijo Thoreson, Elk River, MN one sister, Eilene Hugh Joens, OR, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.Lovern is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Annie Kvamme Dahl, three brothers; Herbert, Ray, and Arnold Dahl, two sisters; Edith Skolness and Doris Ione Dahl, and one great-grandchild, Sonja Marie Sollars.
