Mae J. Aaker

Mae Aaker, 85, Manor Care Health Services, Fargo, ND, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, in the nursing home.Mae Jones was born on May 23, 1920, in Lake Wilson, MN, to Edward and Susan Evans Jones. She grew up and attended school in McHenry, ND, graduating from high school there. She attended Valley City Teacher's College and then taught in North Dakota during WWII. Mae married Elmer O. Aaker in 1946, and they made their home in Fargo, ND. Elmer died on September 4, 1968.Mae is survived by two sons, Monte Linda Aaker, St. Paul, MN, and Bryan Aaker, Fargo, ND; one brother, Walter Shirley Jones, Valentine, NE; one sister, Irene Syverson, Richfield, MN; two grandchildren, Michael and Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Dwight, and five brothers.
