Marilyn E. Dosh

Marilyn E. Dosh (Maghan), 86, of Dilworth, MN, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Marilyn was born in Brainerd, MN, on March 1, 1935, to Charles and Bethea (Carswell) Maghan. She grew up on Crooked Lake near Deerwood, MN, and graduated from Crosby/Ironton High School. Following high school, Marilyn worked for Nash Finch Co. in Brainerd, MN. She married William Dosh on September 15, 1956. Together they made their home in Brainerd and started a family. They remained in Brainerd until moving to Coon Rapids, MN, in 1983. William passed away in 2005, and Marilyn moved to Dilworth in 2012. Over the years, Marilyn enjoyed quilting, sewing and made many gifts for family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Marilyn is survived by her four children, Gregory Dosh of Brainerd, MN, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Dosh of Dilworth, MN, Dianne Dosh of Moorhead, MN, James (Yukiko) Dosh of Wilmington, NC; daughter-in-law, Kathy Dosh (Frank Wentland); nine grandchildren, Christopher (Candace) Dosh, Charles (Shawna) Dosh, Kaleena (Devon) Erickson, Jonathan (Heather) Dosh, Lindsey (Brandon) Aboud, Elliot Dosh, Timothy Dosh, Maxwell Dosh, Minnie Dosh; 13 great-grandchildren, Jairomie Gomez, Megan (Bret) Larson, Lexie Gomez, Shae Dosh, Hailey (Dom) Montesano, Autumn Dosh, Jordan (Bri) Ulven, Tyler Ulven, Vincent Erickson, Beth and Finn Dosh, Zachary and Jacob Aboud; six great-great grandchildren, Finley and Ellie Larson, Jocelyn and Jaden Grandbois, Wesley and Rory Ulven; and her sister, Mona (John) Hogan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dosh, Jr.; parents, Charles and Bethea Maghan; brother, Raymond Maghan; and sister, Doreen Litchy.

Visitation will be Monday, May 24, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Brainerd, MN.
