Marion Emily Lloyd was born November 19th, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois. Mother Emily Helen Gaikowski and Father John Samuel Weber.
Marion attended grade school in a one room schoolhouse with no indoor plumbing: one teacher for all grades. She graduated from Hayward High School, in Hayward, WI in 1965. Marion grew up on a mink farm in Hayward Wisconsin, where she loved playing down by the lake, catching and releasing frogs. She attended high school basketball games and drive-in movies; she loved animals and riding horses.
Marion was a strong-willed, red head. She was a single mother of 5 and always worked so hard. Trips to Rice Lake, 60 miles away usually included many more than her 5 kids, the more the merrier! Vacations were usually family road trips and were always an adventure with the vehicle full.
Over the years she loved to dance, go to the casinos, and take road trips to Detroit Lakes and Canada. She always had pets whether it be birds, fish, dogs, cats, turtles and even sea horses; she loved animals. Walking the hunting fields and going to softball games were a couple of the many things that she loved doing with Jamie, Sarah, and friends. Marion worked various jobs throughout the years but cherished her time volunteering and attending bible study at Open Doors in Fargo, ND. Church was important to her; she loved to get dressed up and attend.
Marion loved to have family cookouts in Lindenwood Park, gatherings could get large with, 5 children, 9 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Birthdays and holidays were always special and important to celebrate.
Most recently at her time in The Meadows on University, Marion enjoyed her friends and staff. She almost always participated in the facility activities but bingo, 6-5-4, UNO and passing time coloring were probably her favorite. Her friends and staff there will be so dearly missed.
Marion is survived by her sister Jeanette (Fred) Vortanz, Hayward, WI; her Uncle Micheal Gaikowski, Flossmoor, Illinois.5 children: Debbie Shepherd, Fargo; Christine Sickles (Nate), Fargo; Mary Hjermstad (Mark), Moorhead; Denise Lloyd, Fargo; Jamie Lloyd (Sarah), Fargo and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marion is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Muschock, both parents and uncles Edmund and Lenord Gaikowski.
The Marion Lloyd family gratefully acknowledges your attendance and many kind expressions of sympathy during their time of loss and invites you to join them for fellowship immediately following the service at the church
