Mary Ann Christensen, 73, of Moorhead, MN, passed away February 9, 2026, under care of hospice, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Mary Ann Anderson was born June 9, 1952, to Ernest and Margaret (Bjerke) Anderson in Portland, OR. The family moved to Minnesota where she would attend school in Lake Park, Glyndon, Hawley and Moorhead Technical College. On July 24, 1976, she married Charles K. Christensen at Hawley Lutheran Church.

Over the years, Mary Ann enjoyed some traveling, and she especially loved spending time with family, friends, co-workers and her pet dogs: Jasper, Indy, Rily and Roxy. She was a dedicated employee of Bell Bank for 50 years and treasured all her special friendships with her co-workers. Mary Ann retired on June 9, 2025, as Vice President of Wealth Operations.

Mary Ann is survived by her brother, Don (Hope) Anderson; nieces, Jess (Fred) Bentz, Finlee; Amber (Ben) Peterson, Cam and Miles; extended family, Nate Dauner; Cory and Brayon Dauner; brothers-in-law, Jack Reese, David (Suzette) Christensen, Lee Christensen; sister-in-law, Faith (Brad) Masloski, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles K. Christensen, her parents, Ernest and Margaret Anderson and sister-in-law, Judy Reese.

A special thank you to all family, friends, co-workers at Bell Bank, and Sanford Hospice, for all the loving care and support of Mary Ann.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:30 AM, with visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
