Maryann C. “Mary” Streeter

MaryAnn (Mary) C Streeter,77, of Fargo, ND (formerly of Minot, ND) died Wednesday June 29th, 2022, at her home in Fargo, ND.

MaryAnn Clara Mautz, was born on May 10th, 1945, to Rudolph and JoHanna (Bendwald) Mautz in Garrison, ND. She was raised and attended school and graduated from Garrison High School. Mary married Ronald Hammer and they had 2 boys. Ronald passed and Mary married Charles (Chuck) Streeter and had a daughter.

Mary was employed at AAFES/Minot Air Force Base for many years until retirement. After retirement she worked several years at Minot Central Campus as a cook. Mary and Chuck raised their 3 children in Minot and recently moved to Fargo.

Mary was well known for her love and collection of “pigs”. Mary had a special place for dogs and cats. Through the years many dogs and cats entered her home. She was an excellent cook and had a love for gardening and baking.

She is survived by her husband Chuck (of 55 years); 3 children, Todd (Joy) Hammer of Mandan, ND, Dwayne (Tracy) Hammer of Hutchinson, MN, Christy Baumgarten of Fargo, ND; 5 grandchildren, Jarrette Hammer, Kristen (Jesse) Feist, Zach & Brandon Baumgarten, & MaKenna Hammer; 4 great-grandchildren, Emly, Tucker & Skylar Feist, & Eleonora Hammer.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Laura, brothers Arnie and Herb and first husband Ron.

Family will be having a private memorial service.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to animal rescue of donors choosing.
