Michael “Mike” Kowalski

Michael A. Kowalski, age 60 of Dilworth, MN, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 16, 2018, in Moorhead, MN. Mike was born on November 29, 1957, to Andrew “Andy” and Joyce (Larson) Kowalski. He grew up and attended school in Moorhead. Following school, he began working construction in the Fargo/Moorhead area. On September 20, 1980, Mike married Brenda Bauer. In 1984, Mike started FM Roofing which they have owned and operated since. Mike enjoyed spending time outdoors, golfing and spending time with family. He also enjoyed his cars, going to the casino and a good hot beef sandwich. Mike will be greatly missed.

Mike is survived by his wife, Brenda; sons, Jared and Lee; brothers, Jon (Diana) Kowalski of Moorhead, MN, and Jerry Kowalski of Fargo, ND; four sisters, Linda Clary of Moorhead, MN, Cheryl (Clint) Ambers of Audubon, MN, Mary Hejl of Fargo, ND, Teresa Zuther of Mandan, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Martin Kowalski; brother-in-law, George Clary.

Visitation will be Friday, August 24, from 5 – 7 p.m., with prayer service at 7 p.m., in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Dilworth, MN.

Memorial Mass will be Saturday, August 25, at 11 a.m., in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Dilworth, MN.

Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
