Michael Thomas “Mike” Salo

Michael Thomas “Mike” Salo, 30, of Moorhead, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in his home in Moorhead, MN.

Mike was born on August 26, 1991, to Robert and Jennifer (Manney) Salo in Fargo, ND. He graduated from Moorhead Senior High School, class of 2009. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing. He also enjoyed working on cars in his spare time.

Mike is survived by his parents, Robert and Jennifer; siblings, Katie (Kyle) Watson and Tyler Salo; niece, Rowan Watson; grandmother, Maryann Manney; grandfather, Robert Salo, Sr.; uncles, Leo, Arnold, Brent, and Ronald Salo, Mark, John, Jr., and Jim Manney; aunts, Julie Manney and Mary Meyer; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Manney, Sr.; grandmother, Edith Salo; and uncle, Michael Manney.

Visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M., followed by the memorial service at 2:30 P.M., Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. A livestream of the service will be available on Mike’s webpage at www.wrightfuneral.com where a guestbook and video tribute may also be found.
