Myrtle G. Cummings

Myrtle G. Cummings, 87, Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, formerly Hawley, MN, died on March 7, 2008, in the nursing home.Myrtle G. Jeral was born on March 21, 1920, in Hawley, MN, to John and Bertha Jeral. She grew up there graduating from Hawley High School. She worked for the telephone company. Myrtle married Francis Cummings on July 3, 1941, in Hawley, MN, and they farmed north of Hawley. She volunteered for activities in church. Myrtle is survived by three daughters, Karen Dale Pinkston, Little Suamico, WI, Janice Gerald Wood, Ocala, FL, and Linda Bruce Peterson, Moorhead, MN; grandchildren, John, Paul, Jennifer, Kim, and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Eric, Sarah, Abigail, Colin, Jason, Wesley, Grace, and Clara. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, in 1986 and her sister, Hazel Berens, in 2002.
