Nancy A. Villiard

Nancy A. Villiard, 69, of Hawley, MN, passed away on Sunday, January 9, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Nancy Gullard was born February 16, 1952, in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Emery and Marion (Jacobson) Gullard. She grew up in Lake Park, MN, and graduated from Lake Park High School. Nancy was confirmed in Callaway Lutheran Church in Callaway, MN.

Nancy married Bob Villiard on January 31, 1995. They made their home in Hawley, MN.  Nancy loved spending time traveling, ice fishing, and deer hunting with her husband of almost 27 years.

Nancy enjoyed working and making wonderful friends at Team Industries in Audubon.  Nancy retired in 2018 after over 30 years.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, Christopher and Randy’s many theatre performances over the years; she just loved to see them perform.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Marion; brothers, Duane (Linda), Gary, Joseph, David, James, Michael, Randy and Robert Gullard; sister, Marilyn Ratley; and brother-in-law, Calvin Korth.

Nancy will be missed by her husband, Bob; son, Eric (Amber) Taylor of Fargo, ND; grandsons, Christopher (Miranda) Taylor of Fargo, ND, Randy (Katie) Taylor of Fargo, ND, granddaughter, Dana Wernke of Minneapolis, MN; Jaiden Blakley of Fargo, ND; great-grandson, Wes Langseth of Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Barbara (Norman) Branden of Audubon, MN, Bonnie Korth of Frazee, MN; brother, Lyle Gullard of Hitterdal, MN; and sister-in-law, Betty Gullard of Lake Park, MN.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 15, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m., in Lysne Lutheran Church, rural Hawley, MN.
