Noël Lynne Brakke, 73, of Comstock, MN, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at home under the care of family and HIA Hospice. Noël was born November 8, 1952, to Robert and Nina (Connoway) Gover. She grew up in Mt. Pleasant, MI, where she graduated from high school. Following high school, Noël continued her education at Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. Over the years, Noël enjoyed her career in music and became the principal Percussionist with the FM Symphany. She later received her degree in nursing and worked as an RN at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fargo. On August 31, 1985, she married Glenn Brakke. Together they made their home near Comstock, MN. In later years, she shared her talent in music and helping others as a teacher/music teacher in the public schools.

Noël is survived by her husband, Glenn; sons, David and Robert; granddaughters, Abigail and Graci; brother, Gary; and sister, Paula.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Mark.

Visitation will be Monday, June 8, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, in Comstock Lutheran Church, Comstock, MN.

Interment will follow at Comstock Lutheran Cemetery.
