Norma Arlene Craigmile

Norma Arlene (Dagoberg) Craigmile, 94, died June 16, 2023. Norma was born Feb. 15, 1929, to Hjalmer and Ellen (Erickson) Dagoberg.

Norma attended Alvarado Public Schools, graduating in 1947. She continued her education at the New York Hair Dressing Academy in Fargo.

On Dec. 15, 1951, Norma married Glenn Craigmile in Warren, MN. To that union, sons Mitchell and James were born.

Making her home in Dilworth, Norma styled hair for more than 50 years, making connections and friendships with those she served. She was actively involved with Dilworth Lutheran Church for more than 65 years. Her other pastimes included golfing, bowling, curling, playing cards, and summering at Lake Ida. She was actively involved in the lives of her family, both immediate and extended, visiting with or writing to them frequently.

Survivors include her husband Glenn, of the home; son, Mitchell (Rita) Craigmile; daughter in law, Carla Craigmile; grandchildren Courtney (Jason) Werth, Katelyn (Jerome) Trageser, Alex (Traci) Craigmile, and Aaron (Ashley) Craigmile; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son James; her parents; sisters Marian Waldron, Florence Dagoberg, and Betty Stanley; brother Dennis Dagoberg; nephew Michael Carroll; and nieces Rebecca Waldron and Margaret Carroll.

Family will receive friends at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Wright Funeral Home Moorhead. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial at Two River Cemetery in Hallock, MN, will occur on a later date.
