Norma L. Huls

Norma L. Huls, 83, Lake Park, MN, formerly Moorhead, MN, died on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in Sunnyside Care Center, Lake Park.Norma Lorraine Howard was born on January 20, 1927, in Akron, IA, to Chandos D. and Bertha Barr Howard. She grew up and attended school in Mitchell, SD, graduating from the Mitchell High School. Norma married Marvin Huls on August 29, 1944, in Akron and they lived in Denver, CO, while Marvin attended school following his military service. They moved to Kimball, SD, where they lived for four years before moving to Moorhead, MN. Norma held positions at Northwestern Bell Telephone, Concordia College and the Fargo Clinic. She loved square dancing and traveling to Hawaii.Norma is survived by her husband, Marvin, Lake Park, MN; son John Huls, Scottsdale, AZ; daughters Linda Gil Schoener, Fargo, ND, and Kathy Jim Iverson, Moorhead, MN; two grandchildren, Paul Sandra Iverson, Minot Air Force Base, ND, and Mark Marissa Iverson, Moorhead, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Carl Howard and Wesley Howard.
