Orlin R. Pahl

Orlin was born August 27, 1941, in Morris, MN, to Reuben and Amanda Thielke Pahl. He grew up and graduated from Morris High School. Orlin married Sharon Lachowitzer on July 13, 1968, in Vergas, MN. He had been employed at the Morris Tribune, the Detroit Lakes newspapers, and for the past twenty years at Davon Press in West Fargo, ND. Orlin was in the Army National Guard for twenty-three years. He also was active in the Hawley Fire Department for thirty-six years, and a member of the American Legion. Orlin enjoyed fixing John Deere tractors, collecting toy tractors, going to flee markets and antiques. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Pahl, Hawley, MN; two sons, Jarrod Deanna Pahl, Moorhead, MN, and Scott Susie Pahl, Breezy Point, MN; one daughter, Lisa Pahl, Hawley, MN; two brothers, Randy Judy Pahl, Farwell, MN, and Delven Sandy Pahl, Morris, MN; six grandchildren, Abbigail, Allison, Alexander, Ashlynn, Courtney & Caitlin.
