Palmer A. Kronbeck

Palmer Aaron Kronbeck was born October 27, 1916 on the family farm near Hawley, MN. On May 12th 2004 his family surrounded him as he peacefully passed away. His life was filled with family and friends and he will be missed by all.He grew up near Hawley on the family farm. Palmer married Sylvia Anderson on December 28, 1938. They lived in Hawley a short time, then moved to Moorhead where he was a mechanic at Corwin Churchill and Balmer Motors, retiring from the Clay County Maintenance Department in 1982.He loved camping, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his loving wife of 65 years.Palmer is survived by his wife, Sylvia, five daughters and one son, Glenda Eugene Fitzgerald, Shirley Michael Motschenbacher, Arlan Carol Kronbeck, Jane Richard McGough, Lois Donald Vincent, Becky Barry Orvik, 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Raymond Inez Kronbeck, Alfred Hyacinth Kronbeck, and a sister, June Dorrough.
