Paul Wayne Montgomery

Paul Wayne Montgomery, 82, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Farmstead Care in Moorhead, MN.

Paul was born on December 3, 1941, to Frank and Betty Montgomery in Twin Falls, ID. He graduated from Twin Falls High School and moved to Grand Forks, ND where he began his career in commodity sales. His career eventually to him to Detroit Lake, MN. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Collins in 1985. After retirement, they moved to Lake Sally which was enjoyed by their children, grandchildren, and family.

Paul enjoyed building and drag racing cars in his younger years. He also enjoyed traveling, especially back to Idaho where he could visit his family and old friends.

Paul is survived by his children, Jeff Montgomery, Kevin (Shirley) Montgomery, David (Sarah) Lien, and Travis Lien; many grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth; parents, Frank and Betty; and his brothers, Butch and Tom.
