Paul A. Pederson, 89, of Fargo, ND passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Valley Care and Rehab, Barnesville, MN.

Paul Allen Pederson was born November 25, 1936, to Paul and Fern (Reisgard) Pederson at St. Ansgar's Hospital in Moorhead, MN. He graduated from Moorhead High School in 1955 and from Concordia College in 1959. Paul married Terril Clark on July 19, 1974, and they had two children; Nicole and Ryan. They later divorced. Paul taught school for 33 years, mainly at Evansville and Glyndon, MN. He retired in 1994 and then did 10 years of substitute teaching in the Fargo-Moorhead area. 

Paul enjoyed walking with his three sheltie dogs (Levi, Buddy, and Gracie) for many years and spent many days at the dog park with Buddy and Gracie. He also did a lot of bike riding early in his retirement. He was a sports fan for many years, especially following NDSU wrestling and fast pitch softball in Fargo. He also played fast pitch softball for a number of years. In his later years he enjoyed working on Sudoku puzzles and watching TV and older movies. 

Paul is survived by his daughter, Nicole, son, Ryan (Mel), and granddaughter, Eckoe. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 1-2 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 2 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
