Perry Game

  Perry Game, 61, Woodbridge, VA formerly of Glyndon, MN passed away at his home on March 3, 2024, after a battle with cancer.

  Perry was born on August 4, 1962 to Gordon and Carole (Thingstad) Game. He attended school in Glyndon where he graduated in 1981. After Graduation, he attended Moorhead Technical School and then continued his education at North Dakota State University where he earned a Degree in Agricultural Economics.

  He began his career with the United States Department of Agriculture in 1987 as an agricultural statistician in Helena, MT. He later transferred to Oklahoma City, OK. Perry's final transfer was to the USDA office in Washington D.C. until he retired in 2019. 

  Perry was a devoted father, brother and uncle.

  He will be remembered for the kindness and generosity he extended, putting others before himself.

  His love of history made the Washington D.C. area a perfect place for many adventures with his son and other family members and friends. His favorite place of all, by far, was George Washington's home, Mount Vernon, where he was a very frequent visitor.

  Perry is survived by his son, William Game; sister, Stacey (Game) Carter; brother-in-law, Dan Carter; nephews, Ryan (Cassidy) Carter and Aaron Carter; nieces, Anna Carter, Nicole Carter and Amanda Carter; great nieces, Audrey and Riva Carter; and great nephew, Dayton Murdock.

  A memorial service is planned for Saturday, May 11th at 1 PM, with visitation from 12 – 1 PM, at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN.
