Ramon D. Ohm

Ramon D. Ohm, 91, Audubon, MN, died on Thursday, April 22, 2004, in Emmanuel Nursing Home, Detroit Lakes, MN.Ramon D. Ohm was born on January 29, 1913, in Guthrie Center, Iowa, to George and Jenny Smith Ohm. He grew up and attended country school there. Ramon married Irene Graham on February 26, 1936, in Guthrie Center. They farmed near Guthrie Center for a time and eventually moved to Fargo, ND, where he was employed with Sornsin Construction. Following his retirement, they moved to Audubon, MN.Ramon is survived by his wife, Irene, Audubon, MN; four sons, George Bev Ohm, Yale, IA, Garland Ohm, Nevada, IA, Grant Becky Ohm, Audubon, MN, Charles Linda Ohm, Pelican Rapids, MN; one daughter, Erin Dave Meyer, Detroit Lakes, MN; 28 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Georgie Merical, his parents, five brothers and two sisters.
