Randy Belen Hammer, 56, passed away on April 15, 2026.

Randy was born on August 17, 1969, on Coronado Island, California, to Orville and Iluminada Hammer. He graduated from Fertile-Beltrami School in 1987 and began his career at American Crystal Sugar Company in Moorhead, Minnesota. Where he dedicated over 35 years of hard work, serving nine of those years as a shift supervisor.

Randy had a deep love for the outdoors and adventure. He enjoyed motorcycles, dirt bikes, Big Red three-wheelers, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and classic rock. Above all, he cherished spending time with his daughter, Ramsey.

He will be remembered as a kind, intelligent, and generous man who touched the lives of those around him.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Ramsey Hammer (Hunter Lawson); his mother, Iluminada Hagen; his sister, Myrna (Brian) Pearson; his brothers, Emil (Kelly) Belen and Ben (Jessica) Hagen, and many niece’s and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Hammer, and his brother, Enrico Tala.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., with visitation from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Randy will be deeply missed and forever loved.
