Richard J. Timm

Richard J. Timm, 69, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Richard was born May 20, 1952, to Leland and Sofia (Stern) Timm. He grew up in Fairmont, MN, until moving to Moorhead at a young age. Richard graduated from Moorhead High School and then continued his education at the University of North Dakota. Over the next several years, Richard enjoyed his craft as a jeweler where he owned and operated his own jewelry store in Fargo, ND. He also enjoyed fishing, traveling, thrift store shopping and cooking.

Richard is survived by his sister, Deborah (Peter) Hanson, Thornton, CO; brothers, Dr. Stephen Timm, Mexico, Robert (Carol) Timm, Minot, ND; and several nieces and nephews he enjoyed spending time with when possible.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Sofie.
