Robert J. Cascio

Robert J. Cascio, 53, of Drayton, ND, formerly of Moorhead, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Robert was born July 10, 1969, in Milwaukee, WI, to Frank and Carol (Karlson) Cascio. In 1976, the family moved to Moorhead, where Robert graduated from high school. Over the years, he took pride in his career working as a Millwright. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed working with his hands. Robert was a proud member of Carpenters and Millwrights Local 1176 Union. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved his time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his constant smile and the way he treated others.

Robert is survived by his fiancée, Sue Varwig; siblings, Steve Cascio of Ogema, MN, Terese Cascio of West Fargo, ND, Gina Cascio of Cambridge, MN, Ross Cascio of Minneapolis, MN; niece, Abbey; nephew, Josh; and two great-nieces, Meisha and Jordyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Carol; and sister, Mia Marie.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, November 12, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead.
