Rose M. Demchuk, 75, of Ada, MN, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in her home in Ada, MN.
Rose was born on August 2, 1948, to Richard and Mable (South) Morrison, in Moorhead, MN. She grew up in Fargo, ND, where she attended and graduated from North High School in Fargo, ND. She moved to Texas where she did clerical work for Travis County. She retired in 1993 and moved to McCody, ND, with her family. In 2014, she moved to Ada, MN, and devoted herself to her family.
Rose was the queen of the Grim Reapers Motorcycle Club, loved everything Garfield, and listening to any of Elvis’ songs. Many people referred to her as the O.G. Grammy and put her family above all else.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Annette (Gary) Chandler and Rowdi Hildebrand; grandchildren, Kenneth (Kaycie) Koste, SeAnne Sevier, J.R. Woods, and Weston Woods; great-grandchildren, Kenny Demchuk, Sofia Demchuk, Elias and Trey Koste, Emily and Connor Woods, Aria and William Woods; siblings, Tom Morrison, Walt Morrison, Chris Morrison, Dennis (Linda) Morrison, and Peggy Morrison; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Adaire, Bill Metcalf, Bill Hildebrand, and Dave Demchuk; parents, Richard and Mable; and brother, Rick Morrison.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., with a time of sharing beginning at 2:30 P.M., Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. A livestream of the time of sharing will be available on Rose’s webpage at www.wrightfuneral.com
