Sherri Lynn Bruns (Ronningen) 69, of West Fargo, ND, passed away at home on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Sherri was born January 28, 1957, in Pelican Rapids to Stanley and Barbara (Nyberg) Ronningen. She grew up and attended school in Fargo, graduating from Fargo South High School in 1975. Sherri continued her education at MState College, earning a degree in business. Over the years, she enjoyed using her talents in arts and crafts. She had a passion for collecting and creating unique pieces of art to share with her family and the community. She was a free spirit and found beauty in everything, and everyone. She was also a lover of earth and nature, you would often see her working the dirt in her flower beds or garden. But most of all, she loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sherri is survived by her children, Nichole (Seth) Johnson, Jennifer (Matthew) Schrum, and Izaha (Katie) Williamson; grandchildren, Jordan, Jodesse, Ayden, Zander, Maison, Mikayla, Jamz, Brooke and Axzel; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Persephone and Jaxon; as well as siblings, Mona, Mary, Jayne and John.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Barbara; and brother, Scott.

A celebration of Sherri’s life will be held at a later date.
