Sheryl "Sherrie" A. Sather

Sheryl A. Sather, 78 of Moorhead, MN passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Sanford Health – Broadway, Fargo, ND.

Sheryl Ann “Sherrie” Sather was born in Twin Valley, MN on December 9, 1946, to Warren and Ann (Nyberg) Harkins. She grew up in Twin Valley and graduated from Twin Valley High School in 1964. She attended cosmetology school in Moorhead and worked as a beautician several places in Moorhead throughout her career.

On December 27, 1975, Sherrie married Bob Sather in Twin Valley. They enjoyed quite nights at home with a trip to the casino in Mahnomen here and there. Sherrie also loved going to Home Goods in Fargo in search of unique knickknacks.

Sherrie is survived by her husband, Bob; mother, Ann; son, Jody (Staci); grandchildren, Sawyer, Spencer, Syris (Trish), Sayler (Annika), and Sierra Jenson; and sister, Arlene (Bob) Hunter; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren, and brother, Darryl “Butch” Harkins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour before the service at Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, MN.

Burial will be in Keene Cemetery, rural Ulen.
