Shirley J. Hogue

Shirley J. Hogue, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, in Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND. Shirley was born June 9, 1936, to Oscar and Elizabeth Allen Krienke in Freeport, IL. Shirley married Earlen Hogue on October 10, 1952, in Big Falls, MN. Together they made their home in Glyndon, MN. Over the years, Shirley worked as a Police Matron for the Moorhead Police Dept. and later worked at the Hawley Manor for several years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling to the casino, but most of all loved her family. She will be dearly missed.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Ann of Moorhead; sons, James of Fargo, William of Moorhead, Ted of Minneapolis, Myron of Fargo, Timothy of Florida; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earlen; and son, Gene.

Funeral: Monday June 15, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN

Visitation: One hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
