Susan Diane Jensen, 71, of Hitterdal, MN, passed away on May 30, 2026, at HIA Hospice–Heather’s House in Fargo, ND surrounded by her family. 

Sue was born on January 10, 1955, in Ada, MN, to Gerald and Shirley Ambuehl, and grew up in Borup, MN. On February 17, 1984, she married Jeffrey Jensen, and together they made their home in Hitterdal. Sue dedicated her working life to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant, serving in many of the surrounding nursing homes with compassion and commitment. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Susan is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Jensen; her children, Kari (Pat) Regan and Nicholas Jensen; her grandchildren, Temprence and Talimay; her siblings, Shelda (Lewis) Hines, Jim (Cheryl) Ambuehl, Jerome Ambuehl, Jon (Connie) Ambuehl, Sandy (Steve) Barbot, and Nancy (Mike) Carney; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Shirley Ambuehl, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Irene and Eskild Jensen. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, June 7, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Hawley, Minnesota.
