Terri Lynn (Erickson) Bowers was born February 4th, 1957, to Earl and Rose Erickson. She grew up in Audubon and graduated high school in Detroit Lakes in 1975. Later that year, she married Larry Sieling, and gave birth to their first son, Jeremy. Larry passed away unexpectedly just before the birth of their second son, Anthony, in 1978. She later married Gary (Lefty) Bowers of Lake Park in 1980, and had their third son, Cory.

Lefty and Terri made their home in Lake Park where she worked at Country Hill Cabinets for many years, in addition to cleaning numerous homes and Lake Park Lutheran Church. In her free time, she could typically be found in her garden, having won several Garden of the Month awards, in the garage shaking dice or playing cards, or busy crafting one-of-a-kind snowmen, bird houses and other unique home décor. Ever the hostess, Terri was always surrounded by friends, family, and laughter.

Terri died peacefully on February 20, 2026, at Sunnyside Care Center. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Terri is survived by her husband, Lefty; 3 sons Jeremy (Amy) Sieling, Anthony (Angie) Sieling, Cory (Ruby) Bowers; 5 grandchildren Hunter (Topanga), McKenzie, Gabriel, Simon, and Hazel; brother Allan Erickson; sister Joanne (Bob) Rhodes and sister-in-law Kim Erickson. She also leaves behind her and Lefty’s beloved dog, Rosie.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 28th, 2026, from 2-4pm at the American Legion in Lake Park, MN.
