Thomas L. Mushock

Thomas (Tom) Lawrence (Larry) Mushock was born April 21, 1948, in Manhattan New York. Mother, Sylvia Pavell, and Father John Mushock. Tom married Marion Lloyd January 12, 2012, and instantly became part of a big family.

Tom enjoyed road tripping with Marion to Detroit Lakes and Canada; occasionally sneaking the $20 limit casino trip. He loved 50 and 60’s music and could say the name, artist, and words to almost every song that we listened to. Tom and Marion enjoyed accompanying Jamie and Sarah for hunting adventures and watching Jamie’s softball games. Tom would attend any bible study groups he could, he was dedicated to reading the bible and any articles, magazines and/or books about staying healthy. 

Tom was full of joy when he was helping or volunteering. He met many people and friends volunteering at Open Doors. 

Tom struggled with mental health but always fought back to be our soft-spoken man that enjoyed passing on bible verses and quotes that would make everyone smile. Tom will always be remembered in our hearts for “giving a hug without touching you” “by making you smile” we love you, Tom. 

Tom is survived by his wife Marion Lloyd, of Wahpeton, ND and five stepchildren; Debbie Shepherd, Fargo; Chrissy Sickles (Nate), Fargo, Mary Hjermstad (Mark), Moorhead, Denise Lloyd, Fargo, Jamie Lloyd (Sarah), Fargo and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Ronald Mushock of Naples, Florida, Richard Mushock of Clarksburg, NJ, Janet Orminati of Lakehurst, NJ.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings; John Patrick Mushock and Laura Darlene Deno.

Visitation will be Monday, July 17, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 10:00 a.m., at The Lutheran Church of Christ the King in Moorhead.
