Thomas P. Poole, 75, of Fargo, ND passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in HIA Heather’s House, Fargo, ND. Tom was born October 26, 1950, in Moorhead, MN, to William and Ann (Johnson) Poole. Tom spent his early years growing up in North Moorhead, where he graduated from Moorhead High School. In September of 1989, Tom married the love of his life, Cheslyn Zak. Together they made their home in Fargo, ND. Tom had a passion for cars that began in his youth. He devoted considerable time working on them, finding joy and satisfaction in restoring and maintaining them. Over the years, he took pride in working as a mechanic and later as a service advisor at Corwin Automotive. Beyond his love for automobiles, Tom had a lengthy career in softball, enjoyed the outdoors, traveling with Cheslyn and spending time tending to his lawn with great care and meticulous attention. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cheslyn; daughters, Nina (Tim) Johnson, Tonya (Mark) Kemper; son, William (Deb) Poole; grandchildren, Kim Johnson, Drew Johnson, Natasha (Will) Brawley, Carson Poole, Bailey Zastre, Gage Graber, Emma Johnson, Josh Kemper, Katie Kemper, Nick (Marissa); sister, Sue Poole; brother, Joel Poole; brother-in-law, Steve Hegland; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina; parents, William and Ann; sister Mary Hegland; and sister-in-law, Pauline Poole

Memorials will be given to HIA Heather’s House, Fargo, ND.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 24, from 10:00-11:00 am followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens June 25 at 2:00 PM, Fargo, ND.
