Vernon E. Hogenson

Vernon was born on November 4, 1929 to Ralph and Bertha Larson Hogenson in Ulen, MN. He started school in Ulen and moved to Moorhead in 1941 where he continued school. Vernon worked for Ray Gazell Farms until he went into the army. In the army, he served in Japan during the Korean Conflict. Vernon retired from Union Stockyards where he worked for over 25 years. Vernon is survived by three sisters, Eldora Lorentz, Moorhead, MN, Norma Lyle Erickson, Moorhead, MN and Mary Curt Smook, Magnolia, MN; one brother, Gerald Hogenson, Ulen, MN; one sister-in-law, Jennifer Hogenson-Jenson, Moorhead, MN and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert Hogenson.
