Viola V. Wetch

Viola V. Wetch, 94, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Viola was born May 3, 1927, to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Eisenbeis. She grew up and attended school in McLaughlin, SD. In June of 1949, Viola married Anthony Wetch. Together they made their home in in South Dakota and started a family. They later move to Moorhead where they have remained since. Over the years, Viola enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting, was a wonderful cook, and will be remembered for the loved she had for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Viola is survived by her husband, Anton; children, Betty Sakellson, Gary (Lynette) Wetch, Diane Scherer, Larry (Joann) Wetch; grandchildren, Tammy, Dottie, Tony, Kim, Monte Jr., and Shawn; 9 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and siblings, Eleanor and Harold.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Esther, Irene, and Helen; and sons-in-law, Allen Sakellson and Monte Scherer.
