Violet C. Nielsen, 98, Moorhead, MN, died on Monday, November 24, 2008, in MeritCare Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.Violet C. Nielsen was born on October 13, 1910, in Dawson, MN, to Carl and Henrietta Larson Nielsen. She grew up in various communities and graduated from Moorhead High School. She graduated from Interstate Business College and lived in Fargo, ND, where she worked as a manager in life underwriting for Pioneer Mutual Insurance Company. She retired in 1973 and moved to Moorhead.Violet is survived by her sister, Esther Nielsen, of Fargo, ND.
